  The thing that made me swear never to go back there was the on-commission twerp that was trying to sell it to me was not only technically incompetent but also tried to convince me because it was for my business FlexiRent (that they get a commission for) was a good idea. After wasting over 10 minutes for them to answer the phone the price quoted equated to over 25% per annum interest - worse than if I'd just put it on my business credit card!

  Very helpful staff. Good prices. Occasionally understaffed and you can end up waiting a while to get served.

  Excellent customer service from Mark today. He made the process of returning a faulty STB so easy, had everything ready for us when we arrived at the store. Well done

  Purchased a laptop computer on June 22 online to pick up at this store. After 3 days I received an email to say they were out of stock and would let me know when it would arrive. After 3 weeks I went in to inquire about the status. After a 20 minute wait to get served I was assured it was on it's way and would arrive on Tuesday July 18. I waited until Thursday July 20 and after no response went back in store for another 20 minute wait to get served. This time I was told the manager was away and he could do nothing about it. He wrote a note for the manager to call me and marked it urgent. 24 hours later and no response from the manager I march back in there and finally meet the manager who finally had my computer. All I got was a lot of excuses and a sorry. I thought they would have thrown in a case or something extra for all the trouble I had gone through but no they just took my money. Never again Harvey Norman.

  Then I had to listen to the moron (while resisting punching him) tell me because the interest was a business deduction I was better off! The tool couldn't comprehend if I ended up paying $5k for the $3k laptop I'd reduce my taxable income by $2k but I'd only pay $1k less tax so still be $1k worse off so he could get the commission!

  I went there to buy a new laptop that I needed urgently for a business trip a few years ago. I ended up being sold a returned unit by mistake that had a line of dead pixels, Toshiba replaced the LCD quickly after I returned so I wasn't really too upset about that.

  Have bought white goods and electronics from the store and have found the staff very helpful if not totally customer oriented. Make sure you do the research well before you go there. They are a tad more expensive than city store but have gladly agreed to price match every time I approached them. Would gladly recommend them for future to anyone.
