    It is so very sad to see how far this restaurant has fallen from about 5 years ago when it was exceptional. New owners have watered down japanese menu by adding Chinese dishes and reduced overall quality while upping prices. Karaage (once best in Hobart), is now just Chinese battered meat.

    Had tempura udon and sushi. Noodles from prepacked udon from Coles or Woolworths. Soup is tasteless. Only one battered prawn, one slice of carrot and pumpkin each. Guess how much I paid ? $18.40. &0.50 extra for wasabi!!!! Will never visit again. Gone are the days when the food was so much better.

    Cannot go past Kawasemi for Japanese. Only a handful of other places come close. OK, the decor and ambience isn't 100%, but food and service are unparalleled. Can be as pricey or as cheap-N-cheerful as you like...great spot. Yum.
